9 scientific steps

to finding water

Geo9′s steps to find water

GROUNDWATER REPORT

Our geologists research geological, satellite and airborne geophysical and hydrogeological data relevant to your property. Here in Geo9′s office, we study the rock types, subsurface structure, known bores and groundwater resources in your region to provide an initial assessment. You will receive a report, an interactive online presentation and our geologist reviews findings with you before going any further.

Review of property boundaries, topography and Google Earth images.

GEOLOGY

Study of regional and local surface geology and geological structure from maps, reports and aerial geophysical surveys.

HYDROGEOLOGY

Regional and local groundwater systems, bore records, previous drilling attempts, salinity, topography, local rainfall.

EXPLORATION PLAN

Preliminary recommendations based on research to this point.

GROUND TRUTHING

Geological site visit to verify rock types, structures and survey plan.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY

On-site survey that sends electrical currents or generates electro-magnetic fields underground at target areas.

SUBSURFACEMAP

Analysis and intrepretation of survey results. Drilling targets identified.
